  • Booking +

I’ve moved since booking, do you need my new address?
    - Yes! We need to send you car parking/motorhome passes so that you can get onto site. Please contact us so that we can update your booking.

Can I book power later if I change my mind?
    - We have a limited number of powered pitches and these tend to sell out faster than our other pitches. We aren’t able to add any additional power to pitches once these are all sold so please book power as part of your booking if you require it.

Can I upgrade my pitch later if I change my mind?
    - We have a limited number of each of our pitches so please book the pitch that you would like. We do operate a waiting list when pitch types sell out which you can be added to in case of any cancellations.

What extras can I have as part of my booking?
    - For Pre-Pitched Tents we also offer both single and double bedding packs (sleeping bag(s) and air bed(s)) as an add on. Motorhomes/Caravans/Campervans can book electric hook up as an add on as well as Tuesday arrival. All pitches can purchase extra car park passes if more than one car is needed for the booking.

When do camping tickets/correspondence get sent out?
    - Directions to site/traffic email will be sent out the middle of June as we liaise with other campsites and the Festival Traffic Team. Car Park and Motorhome passes are sent out at the beginning of June. You may also receive other reminder emails leading up the festival to check that we have the correct address/details for you in case of any changes. You can also stay up to date/contact us via both our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Do you get a pre-arranged plot for tent pitches or is it allocated on first arrival?
    - All pitches are pre-allocated. If you have any preferences or requests then please include this in the ‘Guest Requests’ box when you book and we will do our best to accommodate these. If you are booking as part of a group please also let us know as we will pitch you together if possible.

Can other people who aren’t staying at Willow Meadows come in and visit?
    - We sell a limited number of guest wristbands at reception for £10 per guest. These will need to be purchased before you guest arrives (so they can get through security) and have a time limit on for when they must be offsite.

What’s the ratio of toilets and showers to tents/people? What beauty appliances are there?
    - We have 1 toilet for every 13 people, 1 shower for every 29 people that are all cleaned and stocked up regularly by our lovely staff. In our Pamper Tent we have mirrors, hair dryers and straighteners available for use. There are also plug sockets if you wish to bring your own.

    Is there WiFi?
    - No. As a rural location our connection isn’t able to cope with the increased demand during the festival.

  • Arrival +

What time can we arrive on the Wednesday?
    - Our car parks and reception open from 9am. Motorhomes, Caravans and Campervans can pay an additional fee to arrive on the Tuesday. Please book this as part of your booking.

What info do I need to bring with me for the welcome team?
    - The name of the lead booker and type of pitch you have booked is all we need. We recommend bringing a screenshot of your booking if traffic around the Glastonbury site is busy as it will get you through to us more easily.

What is the queue like to get into the campsite?
    - 5-10 minutes is what we aim for. We try to keep queues as short as possible and they often are unless we get a large number of arrivals at the same time.

How do we enter/exit the site? E.g. is there a wristband for Willow Meadows or a security gate?
    - All campers on arrival are given a wristband that gets you through all of our security checkpoints. Please look after these as lost wristbands incur a £10 replacement charge. We have 24/7 security with reception open from 9am-5pm everyday. We also have an out of hours number.

How far is the car park from the tents?
    - Depending on your pitch and parking space a 5-15 minute walk. It is a slight uphill but we do provide pull along trolleys to help move your belongings. If you have a disability or additional mobility need please include this in the ‘Guest Requests’ box when you book and we will do our best to support you.

Are we able to inflate air beds etc that we bring with us?
    - Yes, we have pumps available in our Pamper Tent.

Can you access the site from Shepton Mallet going through Pilton Village?
    - You can, but you are very likely to get stuck in traffic heading into the main festival. We send our a information email closer to the festival with our suggested routes depending on where you are coming from so that you have the smoothest journey possible.

Will there be wheelbarrows to help lug our belongings from the car to our pitches?
    - Yes. We have pull along carts available to move luggage. There may be a short wait for these during busy times.

Do we come to the campsite before getting our festival wristbands?
    - You won’t be able to get into our site without coming through reception to collect your wristband. If you have a ‘normal’ ticket you need to come to us first before heading to the festival. If you have a coach ticket you will be taken to the festival so get your wristband at Pedestrian Gate A and then walk to Pedestrian Gate D to get to us.

    - Small gas cookers or BBQs that have a limited naked flame are ok to bring onsite. We do not allow fire pits, large or disposable BBQS as they are too much of a fire hazard. In the event of warm weather you may be asked to limit use or move away from the tented areas to use permitted cookers.

How many plug sockets are provided when we pay for supply to the tent?
    - Two standard UK sockets. There are additional sockets in both our Entertainment and Pamper Tents. Please do not bring anything over 1500W or extension leads as it will overload our system.

    - No. Due to fire regulations we cannot allow an gazebos or similar to be erected between tents on site.

Will we have to walk to the gate via the main road and official car park or is there a shortcut?

Are there water taps to fill up our water bottles?
    - There are several water taps around the site but all our water is drinking water. On arrival you’ll receive a map with points pictured.

Are we allowed to put anything on the outside of our tents to help us identify/locate our tents?
    - Definitely as long as it doesn’t create a large obstruction to walkways. Please ensure that this is all removed at the end of the festival.

Are there any shops close to the campsite?
    - Our nearest supermarkets are Tesco/Morrisons in Glastonbury or Tesco in Shepton Mallet.

    Can you accept deliveries?
    - We can take urgent deliveries that are clearly labelled with the name of the recipient. We will contact you when they arrive and hold these at reception for collection.

Are there any food or coffee trucks on site and what time will they be open?
    - We have both a bar and catering van. The caters are open from around 8am through to mid morning, again for lunch and at 5pm for teatime. Please let them know any dietary requirement when you arrive. The bar is open as long as people are drinking! We also have a guest pizza van on the Thursday night.

    - No. Our site is generally quiet throughout the evening unless you are enjoying our bar and catering facilities. We do ask that everyone respects other campers especially during the late night/early hours.

    - Yes they are! Our cleaning teams also regularly pop round to make sure everything is spick and span. Please let a member of the team know if you find anything amiss.

Are we able to put a lock on the Bell Tents?
    - Each Pre-Pitched Tent has a padlock that you will be given the keys to when you arrive.

  • Departure +

What time do we need to leave by on Monday?
    - We ask that everyone is offsite by Midday. Facilities such as water, toilets and showers may be switched off from 11am.

    How do we check out?
    - If you have a Pre-Pitched Tent please drop your key and padlock into the box at Reception. This is available from Sunday morning. All pitches need to also be cleared of rubbish which can be put in the many bins around the site.

What is the traffic like leaving the site?
    - It mainly depends on what the traffic leaving the festival is like, but if you follow our arrival instructions in reverse you should avoid the worst of it.

What happens if I get home and find I’ve lost something?
    - Any found property is kept securely onsite by our team for a minimum of 6 weeks after the festival. We try to unit as much lost property as possible before the festival is over. Any valuable items/festival tickets are prioritised. Please let reception know, drop us an email or DM straightaway when you realise something is missing to help us get it back to you.
